The Department of State Revenue for the Zhambyl Region (hereinafter referred to as the Department) in accordance with the instructions of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Committee of State Revenue of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has strengthened control over the movement of petroleum products across the state border. This work is aimed at preventing the illegal export of fuel and lubricants, protecting the domestic market, and ensuring compliance with current legislation.

     The control is carried out both at the road checkpoints and by mobile groups in the border areas along the routes of vehicles. At the same time, the situation on the domestic market is monitored on a daily basis, including an analysis of the volume of fuel sales at gas stations and the activities of mini-refineries.

         Since the beginning of the increased control, 39 tank trucks have been inspected by mobile groups. In certain cases, samples and specimens of fuel were taken for examination.

As a result, 15 cases of illegal export of fuel and lubricants with a total volume of over 6,1 liters were prevented. In most cases, the fuel was attempted to be exported in specially equipped additional tanks, as well as in fuel canisters.

For example, on July 6, an attempt was prevented in the Merken district to export 4,2 liters of diesel fuel hidden in four containers (eurocups) of 1,000 liters each, without any accompanying documents.

         In addition, as part of the implementation of the Roadmap, 12 time-based surveys have been conducted in the region, and other verification measures are being carried out.

The Department will continue to implement a set of measures to prevent the illegal export of fuel and lubricants, protect the state's economic interests, and ensure transparency in the movement of goods across the state border.
