On July 1, a new edition of the General Classification of Types of Economic Activity (OKED) begins to operate, based on the updated international classification.
For most existing sole proprietors and LLPs, the transition to the new codes will be performed automatically by comparing the old codes with the new ones.
However, not all changes will be simple.
Some types of activities received new codes, and some of the codes were divided into several more detailed ones.
Therefore, it is impossible to completely exclude errors during automatic migration.
We recommend checking which OKED code will be assigned to your sole proprietor or LLP after the transition.
Why was this done?
📈 Such classifier updates are necessary because:
🆕 new types of activities are emerging;
New professions are emerging;
New business lines are developing;
Existing activities require more precise details.

1️⃣ ✍️ certain types of economic activity have been clarified and detailed;
2️⃣ 🗑️ outdated codes are excluded;
3️⃣ ➕🆕 New codes have been added to reflect modern business lines.
The most notable changes affected:
🛒 trade;
, tourist activities;
📦 Individual types of courier activities.
