A regular meeting of the Trade Union Organization of the State Revenue Department for Almaty was held, along with a joint meeting with the Human Resources Department.

One of the key issues discussed was the organization of tourist and wellness trips for trade union members. Planned destinations include some of Kazakhstan’s most picturesque locations:

- the majestic Shymbulak and the Tauqymyz resort;
- the unique Kolsai Lakes and the therapeutic Alakol Lake;
- the scenic Charyn Canyon;
- the Pervomayskiye Prudy recreation area.

Ahead of the Day of the Establishment of the State Revenue Authorities, the Trade Union Organization emphasized the importance of recognizing the achievements of colleagues. The participants discussed awarding the most active trade union members with medals in recognition of their contribution to the common cause and dedication to their profession.

Reports on the agenda were delivered by Gulnar Sakenova, Deputy Chairperson of the Department’s Trade Union Organization, and Azamat Bagdatuly, Chairperson of the Department’s Audit Commission.

During the joint meeting with the Human Resources Department, participants reviewed important legal developments in detail. Particular attention was given to the amendments and additions to the Labour Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as amendments to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Civil Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

Studying these amendments will enable the trade union to protect employees’ rights even more effectively and stay up to date with the latest legal developments
