SRD of Astana: Revenue to the National Budget Exceeded KZT 1 Trillion, First-Half Target Achieved at 102.2%

The Department of State Revenues for the City of Astana Holds an Extended Board Meeting to Review First-Half 2026 Performance

At the extended board meeting of the Department of State Revenues for the City of Astana, participants reviewed the results of the Department's activities for the first half of 2026, assessed the implementation of key performance indicators, and identified priority tasks for the second half of the year.

Opening the meeting, Head of the Department Serik Manzorov emphasized that ensuring the stable execution of the revenue side of the state budget, improving the efficiency of tax administration, and enhancing the taxpayer service model remain the key priorities of the state revenue authorities.

According to the Department, KZT 1.323 trillion was transferred to the national budget in the first half of 2026, achieving 102.2% of the planned target. Compared to the same period last year, budget revenues increased by KZT 393.5 billion.

The largest growth in revenue was generated by:

-Value Added Tax (VAT) on goods, works, and services supplied within the Republic of Kazakhstan – KZT 292 billion;

-Corporate Income Tax (CIT) from resident legal entities (excluding organizations in the oil sector) – KZT 75.004 billion;

-Value Added Tax (VAT) on imported goods – KZT 61.009 billion.

During the meeting, heads of structural divisions presented reports on the execution of revenue targets, desk (cameral) tax control, debt collection, tax administration, and the achievement of target performance indicators.

Concluding the meeting, the Head of the Department assigned tasks aimed at further improving tax and customs administration, ensuring the fulfillment of approved performance targets, maintaining strict executive discipline, strengthening preventive anti-corruption measures, and ensuring compliance with the standards of public service ethics.
