Private Alisher Alpysbay, who is currently serving his compulsory military service in Military Unit 5513 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is continuing the legacy of his father, who dedicated many years of service to the same unit.
His father, Reserve Senior Sergeant Yerzhan Kazanbasov, served with distinction in the rifle battalion of Military Unit 5513 from 2003 to 2020, carrying out missions to guard correctional facilities. As an assistant guard commander, he earned a reputation as a disciplined and responsible serviceman. In June 2020, he retired after many years of honorable service.
Six years later, in June of this year, his son Alisher was conscripted from the city of Almaty and began his military service in the very same Military Unit 5513. The continuity of generations has united father and son within the same military unit, serving as a vivid example of preserving the traditions of military service.
Raised in an environment shaped by military discipline, Alisher grew up watching his father's service with admiration, adopting such values as responsibility, resilience, and dedication to military duty. In addition to his interest in military service, he achieved notable success in sports, becoming a multiple winner of national Kyokushin Karate championships.
Today, Private Alisher Alpysbay is undergoing combat training, improving his professional skills, and mastering the fundamentals of military service. After completing his compulsory service, he plans to continue serving in the National Guard as a contract serviceman, remaining faithful to his family's traditions and carrying on his father's legacy.
The National Guard carefully preserves the tradition of military family continuity, and stories like this serve as inspiring examples of devotion to military duty and service to the Motherland.
