Ambassador of Kazakhstan Discusses Prospects for Expanding Trade, Economic and Investment Cooperation with KCCI Leadership

Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Korea Asset Issenali visited the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), where he held a meeting with KCCI Vice President Yoon Cheol-min.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the further development of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea. They also exchanged views on preparations for the forthcoming visit of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the Republic of Korea and the multilateral Central Asia-Korea Business Summit.
Ambassador Issenali noted the steady development of bilateral economic cooperation and emphasized the important role of KCCI in strengthening partnerships between the business communities of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea. Particular attention was given to expanding cooperation in industry, energy, digitalization, artificial intelligence, transport and logistics infrastructure, and the development of critical mineral resources.
The KCCI Vice President confirmed the interest of the Korean business community in implementing new investment projects in Kazakhstan and expressed the Chamber’s readiness to facilitate the further development of bilateral business contacts, including within the framework of the upcoming high-level events.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain close cooperation to ensure the successful preparation of the forthcoming events and to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea.
