The Branch of the Non-Profit Joint Stock Company "State Corporation "Government for Citizens" for the Abai Region reports that Public Service Centers (PSCs) continue to expand modern digital services aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of public services. One of these solutions is a document collection locker (postomat), which allows citizens to collect their completed documents at any convenient time without visiting a PSC during its working hours.

Currently, there is one postomat operating in the Abai Region, located in the city of Semey at 21, Quarter 408. The device operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, making it especially convenient for residents with busy schedules, as they can collect their documents at any time of the day.

Since the beginning of 2026, approximately 300 documents have been issued through the postomat. The highest number of collections was recorded in January, with 139 documents issued, demonstrating the growing demand for this service among residents of the region.

The most frequently requested services through the postomat include the issuance of duplicate birth, marriage, and death certificates. This highlights the increasing demand for modern digital solutions in obtaining civil registration documents.

To receive documents through the postomat, applicants simply need to inform the PSC specialist of their preferred delivery method when submitting their application. Once the document is placed in the postomat, the applicant receives an SMS notification containing the application number, a six-digit access code, the storage period, and the location of the device.

Collecting the document takes only a few minutes. The applicant enters the received access code on the postomat screen, completes biometric identification, after which the assigned locker automatically opens, allowing the document to be collected.

At present, the postomat provides access to 19 of the most in-demand public services, including the issuance of duplicate certificates and archival certificates from the Civil Registry Office (RACS), duplicate title documents for real estate, educational documents of all levels, apostilled official documents, as well as documents related to the registration of pledges of movable property that are not subject to mandatory state registration.
