On July 23, 2026, a meeting was held at the building of the akimat of the Bastaushy rural district aimed at preventing terrorism and extremism among youth, as well as conducting anti-terrorism explanatory and informational work.

During the event, the akim of the Bastaushy rural district, A.B. Kenesbekov, delivered a report on the negative impact of terrorism and extremism on society, the dangers of radical ideology, compliance with legal requirements, and the importance of ensuring public security.

Over the course of the meeting, young people were briefed on the importance of relying on reliable sources of information regarding religious and public issues. Informational and explanatory work was also carried out aimed at preventing illegal acts and preserving stability and public harmony in the country. At the end of the event, participants asked questions of interest and received appropriate answers.
