On July 25–26, the East Kazakhstan Region took part in the Creative Aimaq national exhibition of creative industries, held at the QAZAQ CREATIVE HUB in Astana.
Creative Aimaq is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Creative Industries Development Fund. The project aims to promote the creative potential of Kazakhstan's regions, foster the development of the creative economy, support local producers, artisans, and cultural professionals, and strengthen interregional cooperation.
As part of the exhibition, the East Kazakhstan Region showcased its best projects in culture, tourism, and the creative industries. Visitors enjoyed a theatrical performance, a concert featuring the region's leading artists, a fair of local artisans and regional brands, creative workshops for children and adults, interactive VR zones, and a presentation highlighting the region's tourism opportunities.
The tourism exhibition attracted significant interest from visitors, who explored the region's unique natural attractions, travel destinations, and recreational opportunities. One of the exhibition's highlights was a prize draw for a travel package for two to one of East Kazakhstan Region's picturesque tourist destinations.
Participation in Creative Aimaq provided an excellent platform for promoting East Kazakhstan's tourism brand, showcasing its rich cultural heritage, supporting local artisans and businesses, and establishing new partnerships in the creative industries.
Creative Aimaq is a nationwide initiative that introduces the best creative projects, local brands, handicrafts, modern technologies, and cultural initiatives from Kazakhstan's regions to residents and visitors of the country's capital.
