On 5 August 2026, the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted a working meeting chaired by S.A. Akhmetov, Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, with the participation of representatives of the QazExportPromotion/KazTrade Corporate Foundation, the QazSpirits and KazAlcoTabak industry associations, and the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The meeting focused on current issues related to trade development, including the supply of alcoholic beverages and mechanisms for expanding the presence of Kazakhstani products in foreign markets. Participants were presented with proposals aimed at further strengthening trade cooperation and enhancing interaction among all interested stakeholders.

During the open discussion, representatives of industry associations and the business community exchanged views on practical aspects of international trade, shared their proposals, and identified issues requiring further joint consideration.

In concluding the meeting, participants emphasized the importance of continuing constructive cooperation with the business community and industry associations in order to create favourable conditions for the development of foreign trade and to promote Kazakhstani products in international markets.
