In 2026, FlyArystan successfully operated the first direct international flight from Aktau to Urumqi, China. The launch of the new route marked an important milestone in expanding Mangystau's international air connectivity and strengthening tourism and business cooperation.

The inaugural flight carried residents of the Mangystau Region, local bloggers, and media representatives. The trip was organized as an information tour, allowing participants to explore Urumqi's tourism, cultural, and business potential over several days.

The new Aktau–Urumqi route makes international travel more accessible while strengthening tourism and economic ties between Kazakhstan and China.
