Today, a ceremonial reception dedicated to Builders’ Day was held in the meeting hall of the district akimat under the chairmanship of District Akim Zhandos Yerkinbek. The event honored veterans of the construction industry as well as specialists who have been making a significant contribution to the sector.

During the meeting, organized to recognize the work of professionals who carry the responsibility of this important field, the District Akim said:

— Your dedicated work for the benefit of the country serves as an example for the younger generation. Thanks to your tireless efforts, carried out regardless of heat or cold, you have made an invaluable contribution to the development and prosperity of our district. I express my sincere gratitude for your contribution to the development of the country, — said Zhandos Yerkinbek.

Over the past three years, the total volume of construction work in the district has amounted to 49.3 billion tenge. Medical outpatient clinics have been commissioned in the villages of Dur Ongar, Akzhar and Turmagambet, while feldsher-midwife stations have been opened in the villages of Karmakshy and Kuandariya. The Ruhaniyat Center, which has given new impetus to the spiritual and cultural life of the district, is also serving the local community.

In addition, new sports complexes have been built in the settlement of Zhosaly and in the villages of Akai, III International and Dur Ongar. Construction of a modern sports complex in the city of Baikonur is also nearing completion.

Currently, work continues on the major renovation of the Zhosaly and Toretem railway stations, modernization of Baikonur’s water supply and wastewater systems, housing construction, development of engineering infrastructure, as well as the provision of rural settlements with electricity and natural gas networks.

During the reception, a number of veterans of the construction industry were presented with Letters of Appreciation from the District Akim in recognition of their many years of dedicated service and contribution to the development of the construction sector.

At the festive event, Askar Merekov, Chairman of the District Council of Veterans, Abdirakhman Kuldüyssenov, Chairman of the District Public Council, and Akkülіsh Altayeva, a veteran of the industry, delivered congratulatory remarks and wished the builders continued success in their professional careers.

— Regardless of what facility is being constructed, its quality and ability to serve the people for many years must remain the primary requirement. Therefore, the responsibility of construction professionals is particularly important. I am confident that projects aimed at developing the infrastructure of our district will continue to be implemented systematically in the future, — the District Akim said in concluding the meeting.
