I sincerely congratulate you on Abay Day!
The creative and intellectual heritage of the great thinker holds a special place in the treasury of world and Kazakh culture. His teachings serve as a moral compass and a life guide for our nation. He spoke of society's problems without embellishment, warning against idleness and laziness. Abay introduced the idea of "Toluk adam" ("The Complete Man")—a concept of the "Integral Human Personality" that is profound in content and relevant at all times, representing the path of self-perfection and spiritual growth.
This year, we are celebrating Abay Day against the backdrop of a large-scale transformation of the state and society. The People’s Constitution of Kazakhstan has entered into force, and the process of renewing all government institutions has begun. This is a truly epochal period that lays the foundation for development for many years to come. This month will host the first elections to the Kurultai in our history. The unicameral Parliament will impart a new quality to our reforms.
The essence of these transformations is to give a powerful impetus to Kazakhstan's progress and to strengthen constructive values in society. In matters of shaping a new public ethic, strengthening national identity, and popularizing humanist ideals, we consistently turn to Abay’s work. The great poet and philosopher envisioned the nation's future in the pursuit of knowledge, diligence, and responsibility, and prophetically called for unity and harmony. The "Book of Words" is an inexhaustible spring nourishing the entire value system of modern Kazakhstan. The conceptual ideas of "Adal Azamat" (Honest Citizen), "Taza Kazakhstan" (Clean Kazakhstan), and "Law and Order" form the foundation of the harmonious society of which Abay dreamed. Today, we are building a Just, Strong, and Progressive Kazakhstan.
I am convinced that the heritage of the great thinker will continue to serve the cultivation of genuine patriotism and love for our Motherland.
