Thanks to the vigilance and professionalism of National Guard servicemen and staff of Institution No. 8 of the Penal Enforcement Department of the Aktobe Region, two attempts to bring prohibited items into the facility have been prevented.

On August 10, 2026, as part of the preventive security operation “Barrier,” servicemen of Military Unit 6655 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with staff from the security and operational departments of the institution, carried out a series of inspection measures.

At approximately 3:50 p.m., during the inspection of S.T., a driver representing Stroy-Prof LLP, institution staff discovered and confiscated 20,000 tenge in cash from his trouser pocket — two 10,000-tenge banknotes.

Later, at approximately 4:30 p.m., during the inspection of a parcel delivered by citizen A.S., staff discovered a mobile phone hidden among food products inside a doner. The phone was intended to be passed to an inmate.

An administrative case was initiated against citizen A.S. under Part 1 of Article 481 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The case was subsequently submitted to the administrative court for a procedural decision.

These incidents once again demonstrate the importance of vigilance, attentiveness, and professionalism among penal enforcement personnel in the performance of their duties.

The institution's administration urges citizens to strictly comply with the established rules when visiting penal enforcement facilities and warns that attempts to pass prohibited items to inmates entail liability under the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
