Astana, August 17, 2026 – As part of the visit of Linda Rode, Managing Director of the Brazilian company "Tramontina", to Astana, meetings were held with Alibek Kuantyrov, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Kanat Alin, Adviser to the Chairman of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan “Atameken”.

During the meetings, the parties discussed opportunities and avenues for cooperation to promote the Brazilian brand in the Kazakhstan market, as well as establishing investment cooperation, taking into account the existing potential of both sides.

Background information: The Brazilian metalworking company Tramontina was founded in 1911 and is headquartered in the city of Carlos Barbosa, Rio Grande do Sul State. Today, the company manufactures more than 22,000 product items, including kitchenware and equipment, home appliances, agricultural and gardening tools, equipment for industrial and automotive maintenance and civil construction, electrical materials, wooden and plastic furniture, as well as a line of drive equipment.
