On September 7, the District House of Culture hosted the district forum “Тіл – ел бірлігінің тірегі” (Language is the Foundation of National Unity) dedicated to the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan.

The forum featured thematic sessions, the district project competition “Мен қазақ тілін үйренемін” (I Learn the Kazakh Language) among representatives of different ethnic groups, as well as the “Бірлік – береке бастауы” (Unity Is the Beginning of Prosperity) Ethnicities Festival, which brought together representatives of five ethnocultural associations of the district.

Participants presented their projects, national traditions, songs, dances and cultural heritage, once again demonstrating that language is a bridge that unites people and strengthens friendship, mutual understanding and unity.

The festive day concluded with a concert programme and an awards ceremony for the participants and winners of the events.
