On September 9, the S. Seifullin Central Library of Zhetisu Region held an educational hour entitled «Family Traditions and National Values» on the occasion of Family Day, with the participation of 8th-grade students from School No. 4.

During the event, «Daniya Samidinova Iskakova», a teacher at School No. 4, shared insightful thoughts on family values, mutual respect between parents and children, national traditions, and spiritual and moral education. The participants were also introduced to the book exhibition «Family – the Cradle of Upbringing», followed by a bibliographic review of literature dedicated to family education.

During the «Family That Shaped a Great Personality» question-and-answer session, the students shared their views on the role of family in shaping an individual’s personality. In the «Ocean of Wisdom – Proverbs and Sayings» game, participants completed proverbs related to family, unity, harmony, and upbringing, while exploring their educational and moral significance.

One of the most touching moments of the event was the «Heartfelt Wishes to My Family» activity. Using their mobile phones, the students sent sincere wishes and warm words to their loved ones, realizing once again that family is the most precious treasure in a person’s life.

Throughout the educational hour, the idea that family is the golden cradle of love and compassion, upbringing and harmony was widely promoted. The event helped strengthen the students’ respect for family and national values and was both meaningful and engaging.
