The annual Single Day of the Report of control and supervision bodies was held in Pavlodar. The event was held in the format of an open dialogue at the "Atameken" Chamber of Entrepreneurs with the participation of representatives of the business community, government agencies and local executive bodies.
The key purpose of the meeting is to summarize the interim results of the work, discuss topical issues of tax and customs administration, as well as develop joint solutions to reduce the administrative burden on entrepreneurs.
Yerzhan Toktarkhanov, Head of the Department, made a report on the results of the activities of the state revenue authorities of the Pavlodar region for 8 months of 2026. As the head of the Department noted, stable dynamics of tax and customs revenues was ensured during the reporting period. The plan for tax revenues to the republican budget was fulfilled by 103.7%: with a plan of 370.3 billion tenge, 383.9 billion tenge was actually received. Compared to the same period last year, the growth rate was 141.1%. The local budget received 305.4 billion tenge, and customs payments exceeded 21 billion tenge. tenge.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to changing approaches to control functions and reducing the burden on the business. In the first 8 months of this year, the number of tax audits decreased by 60%, and about 480 inspections were conducted compared to 800 in the same period last year. As part of the business support, inspections of small and microenterprises on their tax obligations have been discontinued. The main priority of the control work remains preventive desk control, which allows taxpayers to eliminate errors on their own without applying penalties. Of the 5.5 billion tenge of additional accrued taxes, over 3.5 billion tenge was transferred voluntarily by businessmen.
Representatives of the business community expressed interest in holding such events on a regular basis to promptly resolve emerging issues.
