The international scientific and practical conference "Rosa Mukanova shygarmashylygy: adebiet, theater, cinema" was held in Astana

With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an international scientific and practical conference "Rosa Mukanova shygarmashylygy: adebiet, theater, cinema" was held, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the famous writer, playwright, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, laureate of the Abai State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan and winner of the Franz Kafka Medal, Professor Rosa Mukanova.
At the event, the Chairman of the Committee of Archives, Documentation and Book Business of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Rustam Ali presented a congratulatory letter from Minister Aida Balayeva. In her letter, the Minister noted the importance of Roza Mukanova's work and its impact on the cultural development of the country: "I sincerely thank you for your significant contribution to the development of our national literature and culture. I wish you to continue your rich creative path, replenishing the national heritage with deep, meaningful and eternal works born from your sacred pen."
The conference was attended by government and public figures of Kazakhstan, famous literary critics, screenwriters, theater critics, art historians, as well as foreign scientists, literary and art figures.
The conference included presentations of Sabina Said's book in Turkish, based on the work of Rosa Mukanova, a collective monograph and a photo exhibition. There was also a screening of the film "Kizzhylagan" directed by Satybalda Narymbetov, based on the story by Rosa Mukanova.
In addition, the National Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented an exhibition of documents from the personal archive of the writer called "Rozanyn adebiet alemi". The exhibition featured diplomas, certificates, awards, as well as manuscripts of her dramatic works such as "Kyzzhylagan", "Mangilik bala beine", "Muse", theater posters and manuscripts of her father, Kazhygalym Mukanov, as well as family photographs.
