In honor of the International Volunteer Day, volunteer forums were held in a number of regions of Kazakhstan, organized by youth resource centers together with local executive bodies.
The participants discussed the prospects for the development of volunteerism in the country, implemented projects and plans for the coming 2025.So, in Karaganda, the forum gathered more than 400 participants of the volunteer movement. They are mainly students of universities and colleges in the region, school students and representatives of youth public organizations.
At the meeting, the most active volunteers were awarded, and the results of the grant competition were summed up. Local executive bodies supported 10 projects of various directions and allocated 500,000 tenge for their implementation.
The most active representatives of the volunteer movement were also encouraged in the capital.
Within the framework of the forum, 70 organizations and initiative groups that contributed to the development of the capital were awarded. The awards were presented in 7 nominations.
The volunteer Award was also held in Atyrau region.
