As part of anti-flood measures, employees of the district akimat and the Astana city Emergency Department continue to work in residential areas.
This includes cleaning ditches and gutters, timely snow removal, and distributing messages to residents of the private sector.
Over 60 special equipment and about 30 workers have been mobilized for flood prevention measures across the district.
Since the beginning of the winter season, more than 7 thousand cubic meters of snow have been removed from the district's snow polynon.
In order to prevent the risk of flooding, private sector residents are required to remove snow from their yards along the road (from the private sector to the city territory).
