✔️The issues of landscaping settlements and developing fisheries in the Turkestan region are being discussed by the regional akimat was selected. The regional akim, Nuralkhan Kusherov, instructed the head of the responsible department and district and city akims to intensify work in this direction.
📌– In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, it was planned to create a "Green Belt" around the city of Turkestan. This task is of great importance. It is necessary to intensify the work on landscaping settlements in the region. There are many shortcomings in planting trees. It is necessary to monitor the quality of planted trees. District and city akims are not working. Saplings that will take root in the region should be planted. I instruct you to carry out specific work on landscaping settlements. It is necessary to develop nurseries using the experience of other countries. Take up holding seminars on the development of fisheries in the region. In addition, it is necessary to revive the work on attracting investors to the development of fisheries. Please provide a specific plan and proposal in this direction, - said Nuralkhan Kusherov.
✔️The head of the regional department for natural resources and regulation of nature use Kairat Abdualiev made a report at the Majilis. According to him, in accordance with the instruction of the Head of State to plant more than 15 million trees in districts and cities over a period of 5 years, it is planned to plant 1.1 million seedlings for landscaping settlements. Within the framework of this event, it was planned to plant about 4 million seedlings for landscaping about 90% of 852 settlements in our region, in order to fully implement the regional plan. To date, the average yield of seedlings planted according to the autumn inventory is 60-70%. Last year, about 1 million different seedlings were released for landscaping settlements according to the plan. This year, the release of seedlings will be carried out taking into account the climatic characteristics of the regions, and priority will be given to planting native deciduous, coniferous, fruit trees and flowering tree and shrub species.
✔️There are 24 forest nurseries in the region with a total area of ​​343.5 hectares. Of these, 14 permanent forest nurseries and 10 temporary forest nurseries are growing 34 million seedlings. It is planned to increase the number of nurseries to 60 million by 2027 by increasing the quality and quantity of nurseries. Today, the full implementation of the nursery irrigation systems, the use of mineral fertilizers, the additional introduction of seedling varieties, and their modernization are underway.
📌In addition, it is planned to increase the volume of commercial fish farming in the Turkestan region to 20.0 thousand tons within 10 years by 2030. Currently, the number of farms engaged in commercial fish farming in the region has reached 231. Of these,
160 are legalized by the Interregional Basin Fisheries Inspectorate.
