A solemn ceremony of swearing in young soldiers took place at the Aktau garrison on the military parade ground of the air defense brigade.
The solemn event was attended by Deputy of the Mazhilis of Parliament Natalia Dementieva, veterans of the Armed Forces, the Afghan war, brigade commanders of the garrison, representatives of the committee of soldiers' mothers, relatives and friends of soldiers.
The soldiers, who were called up this fall from Zhambyl, Kyzylorda, Aktobe, Atyrau and Mangistau regions, swore to protect the Homeland and the state interests of independent Kazakhstan.
The brigade commander, Lieutenant Colonel Marat Kudabayev, stressed the importance of taking the oath for each serviceman.
– The military oath is the inviolable law of the defender of the Fatherland. With its adoption, you undertake to study military affairs in good faith and endure the difficulties of service with fortitude. This is a man's job, and it will do you good, harden your character and strengthen your body. I wish you perseverance and success on this path," he said.
Before taking the oath, the soldiers took the course of a young fighter. They got acquainted with the history and traditions of the military unit, studied the tactical and technical characteristics of weapons and equipment, the basics of state-legal, combat and fire training.
Deputy Natalia Dementieva heartily congratulated her son and his colleagues, who took upon themselves the sacred obligation to protect the Motherland, on this significant event. She wished them patience, courage and fortitude. The young soldiers were also admonished by veterans, public figures and parents.
Demonstrations with elements of hand-to-hand combat and a fashion show with weapons were also organized for the guests of the unit. Then there was a tour of the military unit with a display of samples of weapons and military equipment, classrooms, barracks and a canteen.
The parents were able to familiarize themselves with the conditions of service of their sons, get answers to their questions and contact details of the command. On this day, the soldiers went on their first leave.
