The republican championship in power sports was held in the city of Turkestan, which brought together more than 600 participants from all over Kazakhstan. Vitaly Romashchenko, a teacher of the Department of Fire-Rescue and Physical Education of the Malik Gabdullin Academy of Civil Protection, clearly showed himself in this large-scale competition.

  Vitaly, a master of sports in power sports and a candidate for master of sports in Greco-Roman wrestling, became a real star of the tournament. He won 4 gold medals in the absolute championship and took first place among all weight categories. This victory is another achievement in his rich sports career.

  Recall that in 2024, Vitaly Romashchenko became a three-time champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan in deadlift, biceps curl, horizontal bar, and pull-ups. He also twice became the Asian champion in various power disciplines, including the biceps and Russian biceps extreme lifts, as well as the pull-up on the horizontal bar, the double-bar pull-up. At the end of the year, Vitaly won the world champion title in the Russian biceps, the horizontal bar, the double-bar pull-up.

  This achievement continues to confirm the high level of training of the athletes of the Civil Defense Academy, including in physical education and power disciplines. Vitaly Romashchenko is also an example for his cadets and colleagues, showing how to achieve significant heights in a sports career, combining training with professional service in the civil defense system.
