On the first day of February,  the Department of the Chief of the Rear Admiral of the Armed Forces and subordinate military units 23366 and 01785 jointly organized a sports event in the central park of Astana.

  The 2.5-kilometer race route, in which 12 teams participated, was divided into three stages. Children skied 200 meters, mothers - 500, and fathers - 1800 meters. 

 The First Deputy Chief of the Rear Admiral of the Armed Forces - Chief of Staff, Colonel Zangar Omarov, wished the participants of the race good luck.

 - Due to the specifics of our service, military personnel always  spend time with their family members  It is not often possible to spend time together. Therefore, today we organized these competitions so that the participants of the competition could strengthen mutual understanding and gather in one place in a friendly atmosphere, - he said.

According to the results of the competition, the family of military serviceman Lieutenant Colonel Evgeny Erastov passed the race route the fastest. The second place was taken by the family of Sergeant 3rd Class Damir Kunanbayev, and the sports team of Major Meirbek Atbayev rose to the third step of the podium. The winners and prize-winners of the ski competitions were awarded certificates. In addition, the best reward for the participants was, of course, a good mood. So that the fans who came as fans would not be bored, the organizers provided various competitions in skating, outdoor games and other winter entertainment. 

 – We would like to thank the rear leadership for the highly organized competition. Here  The children had the opportunity to take part in the test with their parents. Such events are very useful for military personnel to spend time with their families, - said the spouse of the serviceman Elena Erastova. 

A tent was set up to warm the participants of the event, and hot tea with sweet buns  and baursak was served.
