✔️Systematic work is being carried out in the Turkestan region to develop the education sector and turn the city of Turkestan into the center of the Turkic world. In order to discuss ways to continue this work, the regional governor Nuralkhan Kusherov received the Chairman of the Intergovernmental Plenipotentiary Council of the Khoja Akhmet Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, Mukhitdin Shimshek, and the rector of the university, Zhanar Temirbekova.
The meeting discussed plans to deepen cooperation between the university and the Turkestan regional akimat, as well as the implementation of new projects.
✔️Muhitdin Shimshek expressed his proposals on turning Turkestan into a tourism center, building a building for a research center in the field of Turkology in Turkestan, and opening an inclusive education center for people with disabilities. The issue of introducing the experience of the city of Konya, which receives 8 million pilgrims and tourists annually, was also discussed.
⤵️Nuralkhan Kusherov called for joint work on launching new projects and training technical specialists within the framework of the "Year of Worker Professions".
📌– We know that the Khoja Akhmet Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University has given a positive impetus to the development of Turkestan. Graduates from this educational institution contribute to the development of our country and region. We are not mistaken if we say that we are partners in the development of the region. Today, industrial facilities are being opened in the region through the "Small Industrial Park" project. They need qualified specialists. It is important to open departments at the university that will train workers and specialists needed for industrial facilities in the region and direct grants. We will take into account the proposals made in education, tourism and other areas, and continue to strengthen partnership, - said Nuralkhan Kusherov.
