The "Clean Kazakhstan" environmental campaign is being held on a large scale in the Zhambyl region.
The main goal of the environmental campaign is to preserve the environment and form an ecological culture, and various educational campaigns, round tables, and seminars are being held as part of the campaign.
In particular, a round table session entitled "Clean Region" was organized among students at the Zhambyl Higher Humanitarian College named after Abai in Taraz. As part of the event, the participants were given a broad understanding of ecological culture.
"Today's round table will help strengthen the sense of responsibility to society among young people, especially among schoolchildren and students. The campaign will deeply shape the concept of loving one's native land, preserving natural wealth, keeping it clean, and increasing greenery. Also, the "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign will allow every Kazakhstani to feel their importance and contribution to the development of the country," says young activist M. Nurdyllyayuly.
Similar events were also organized in the regions of the region.
In Zhambyl district, a quiz “Let's protect nature” was organized among young people, in Zhualy district, a round table meeting “Youth is the future of the country”, in Korday district, a meeting with young people on the topic “If nature is clean, humanity will be safe”, in Moyinkum district, a “Clean district” challenge was held among rural districts.
In T. Ryskulov district, labor veterans met with young people on the topic “A clean region is a trust for us”, in Shu district, volunteers met with students of Shu College No. 10, in Merki district, a flash mob “Clean Kazakhstan is in our hands” was organized among young people, in Sarysu district, an eco-game on the topic “Together – Clean Kazakhstan!” was organized, and in Talas district, a meeting of young people with high school students on the topic “Clean Kazakhstan – Clean world” was organized.
It should be noted that these events are the first weekly events of the current year in the region within the framework of the “Clean Kazakhstan” campaign. During the campaign in 2024, 60 historical and cultural monuments, 143 parks and squares, 829 kilometers of canals and ditches, 137.5 thousand yards and 4.8 thousand kilometers of streets were cleaned, and 30,875 tons of garbage were removed. In addition, about 60 thousand seedlings were planted.
