Torgyn Yerkakova, a mother of many children and a professional pastry chef, received a grant and opened a small workshop near her house. With the allocated funds, she purchased the necessary equipment and began baking production.
"I decided to try myself in the Bastau Business project. This is a great opportunity provided by the state. I made a business plan, completed a week-long training and received a certificate. Then I defended my project and received approval a week later," she said.
In addition to grant support, next year low-interest loans are provided for residents of the region under 35 years of age. The maximum loan amount will be 5 million tenge, for which more than 1 billion tenge has been allocated from the budget. It is expected that more than 200 people will be able to take advantage of this opportunity, which will be the next step towards the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the region.
