In 2024, important changes took place in the field of science and higher education. Special attention is paid to the training of teaching staff. To date, 54 universities have licenses in teaching areas.
The number of grants for pedagogical areas is increasing annually: in the 2023-2024 academic year, 15,923 grants were allocated, in the 2024-2025 academic year – 15,973 grants.
Within the framework of the Bolashak program, 12,665 people have been trained in the best universities in the world, 1,942 of them have completed training in the category of "Scientific and pedagogical workers".
The digital ecosystem in universities has also been strengthened, all educational institutions are connected to LMS platforms.
The number of research universities has increased, and since 2022, the status of a research university has been assigned to five universities.
