An important stage of gasification has been completed in Shymkent. Akim of the city Gabit Syzdykbekov and Chairman of the Board of JSC NC "QazaqGaz" Sanzhar Zharkeshov solemnly connected residential areas "Kaynarbulak" (second stage), "Tassai", "Elaman", as well as a number of enterprises of the industrial zone "Tassai" to gas supply.
A historic moment for the residents
The first stage of gasification of the Kaynarbulak massif was completed in October this year. Now other areas are connected to natural gas. This event will improve the quality of life of more than 25 thousand subscribers who will have access to natural gas in 2024.
At the event, the mayor of the city recalled the importance of observing safety rules when using gas.
The gasification of Shymkent has not only domestic, but also environmental significance. The transition to natural gas contributes to the improvement of the ecological situation in the metropolis and provides residents with a modern, safe source of energy. The level of gasification of the city, taking into account new facilities, will reach 97.4% — one of the highest rates in the country.
