Starting next year, the cost of meals in Akmola schools will be increased

More than 8 billion tenge is planned for improving the quality of nutrition of schoolchildren in Akmola region next year. This was stated at the session of the regional maslikhat on budget approval by Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov.
According to the head of the region, today the region occupies the 4th position in the country in terms of the cost of food for 1 child. In 2025, it is planned to increase the cost of meals from 715 to 808 tenge per child per day.
As part of the execution of the order of the Head of State, food quality control has been strengthened.
The region is also actively implementing modern technologies: all schools in the region are equipped with high-speed Internet via the STARLINK satellite system.
Within the framework of the Bakytty Aimak project launched in Tselinograd district, 500 teachers have already improved their qualifications.
About 9 billion tenge is provided to improve conditions in educational institutions, including capital and current repairs.
This year, six new modern comfortable schools have been commissioned in the region, and three more schools are also at the completion stage.
The head of the region noted that these measures are aimed at creating a comfortable and effective educational environment, which will become a solid foundation for the intellectual and professional development of the youth of the Akmola region.
