A session of the regional maslikhat on the approval of the budget for 2025-2027 was held in Kokshetau. Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov presented to the deputies the key directions laid down in the budget of the region.
Next year, for the first time in the region, funds are planned to provide free public transport for pensioners of the city of Kokshetau. Funds are also provided for the sanatorium treatment of pensioners. About 3 billion tenge is provided for the implementation of these measures.
Another significant project will be the opening of the Active Longevity Center in Kokshetau. The center will become a place to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle for the elderly.
Marat Akhmetzhanov noted that these measures should be scaled up to the regions in order to cover as many residents of the region as possible.
By the way, a total of 17 billion tenge will be allocated to support senior citizens, people with disabilities and improve the quality of life of the population.
