A new school has opened in a remote village of Moyinkum district

On the eve of Independence Day, a 120-seat school was opened in the village of Mynaral, Moyinkum district, Zhambyl region.
The old school in the village, which was put into operation in 1972, was recognized as an emergency. In accordance with the instruction of Akim of Zhambyl region Yerbol Karashukeyev, construction of a new building was started in November last year.
Currently, 34 teachers teach 168 students at the new K.Kasimov school. The new building has 13 classrooms, computer, language, multimedia classrooms, 2 laboratories and 2 workshops, a gym, an assembly hall, a library, and a dining room.
- The classrooms in our new school are spacious and bright. Now we have modern equipment for conducting various experiments. It remains for us to study diligently and justify the trust placed in us," says Aisana Kanagat, a 5th grade student.
It should be noted that 36 educational facilities (for 10,600 places) are under construction in Zhambyl region. To date, 13 facilities have been put into operation, including three schools built within the framework of the National project "Comfortable School". 2 more facilities will be commissioned by the end of the year.
As a result, the problems of 7 schools with a shortage of student places, 3 three-shift, 3 dilapidated, 2 emergency schools will be solved.
Also this year, nine schools and a technical creativity center were overhauled.
In general, 3.1 billion tenge was allocated for the modernization of schools (1.9 billion tenge - to provide 215 schools with modification rooms and 1.2 billion tenge - to ensure the safety of educational facilities).
