Today, Akim of North Kazakhstan Region Gauez Nurmukhambetov met with the business community of the region at the site of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs. Such events are traditionally held in the format of an open dialogue, where topical issues of business development and support for small and medium-sized enterprises are discussed. The question-and-answer format allows for constructive interaction between government agencies and business.
During the meeting, entrepreneurs raised a wide range of issues, including the export of products, the development of public transport, subsidizing rates, supporting tourism, organizing school meals and other topics.
"All the voiced questions have been taken into account. We will continue to actively support business initiatives aimed at developing the region's economy," the head of the region wrote on social networks.
Financial assistance has been provided to business entities that suffered during the severe flood. 107 applications from SMEs for 3.3 billion tenge were accepted.
State support mechanisms for entrepreneurs are successfully operating. Measures such as subsidies, guarantees, grant financing and infrastructure creation are provided. 267 billion tenge has been allocated for these purposes in the region. The effectiveness of these measures is confirmed by statistics: the number of active SMEs increased to 35.9 thousand, an increase of 1.7%, and the volume of output reached 476 billion tenge.
