In Kazakhstan, since the beginning of the current epidemic season, which begins on October 1, 688,168 cases of SARS have been registered in the republic, which is 8% lower than the incidence rate last year. There have been 7 cases of laboratory-confirmed influenza A(H1N1) in this epidemic season.
2,207,750 doses of influenza vaccine were purchased for influenza vaccination of the target population. As of today, 100% of the subject population has been vaccinated.
Other viral respiratory infections are also circulating in the country. Seasonal flu is characterized by the sudden appearance of high fever, cough, headache, muscle and joint pain, severe malaise, sore throat and runny nose.
One of the effective ways to prevent the disease is routine immunization of the population. Influenza vaccination protects against the complicated course of the underlying disease, hospitalizations and deaths.
