On the eve of Independence Day, a drinking water system was launched in the village of Turymkul, Talas district.
The event was attended by akim of the district Nurbol Zhunisbekov, aksakals and residents of the village.
- In accordance with the instructions of the head of state, the rural population is provided with high-quality drinking water. In general, this year it is planned to build a drinking water network in 7 rural settlements in the district. By the end of the year, drinking water will be gradually supplied to 5 settlements. The other two projects will be transferred to the next year, " the mayor of the district said.
About 230 people live in the village of turymkul.
- We have access to clean drinking water in honor of the holiday. Before that, we drew water from the well and made a fuss. Clean drinking water is the key to the health of the nation! I congratulate all my fellow villagers with common joy! - the village old man Tursan Bastaubayev gave a blessing to the people.
It should be noted that this year 37 rural settlements (SNPs) in Zhambyl region will be provided with livelihoods. Of these, it is planned to build drinking water systems in 22 SNPs, install a complex block module in 15 SNPs. As a result, by the end of the year, the level of providing the population with high - quality drinking water will reach 98.1% (2023-94.9%).
