The 100th anniversary of the Hero of Socialist Labor, veteran of the Great Patriotic War and labor Alexander Nakhmanovich was widely celebrated in the village of Tuymekent in the Bayzak district.
The event was attended by Akim of Zhambyl region Yerbol Karashukeyev, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Malik Otarbayev, daughter of veteran Galina Nakhmanovich, as well as representatives of the intelligentsia, labor veterans, residents of the district.
First, the participants laid flowers at the monument to veterans of the Great Patriotic War and at the bust of Halyk Kaharman Gaziz Baitasov.
On this day, the solemn opening of the memorial plaque in memory of Alexander Lvovich took place.
Next, the participants gathered at a conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Alexander Nakhmanovich.
Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Malik Otarbayev read out the welcome letters of the President of the country and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The governor of the region noted that Zhambyl residents are proud of the achievements of Alexander Nakhmanovich and appreciate his merits.
- People say that heroes glorify the motherland. (Eldin atyn er shygarady). Alexander Lvovich made a significant contribution to the development of the region, including the Bayzak district, and won the respect of others with honest work. Alexander Lvovich changed the attitude to work in a single collective farm.
A war veteran, an outstanding agrarian managed to turn the collective farm "Labor Plowman" into one of the best in a year. He made a great contribution to the construction of cultural and educational facilities.
He is an example of how to steadily achieve your goals and work with incredible dedication for the benefit of the people. Alexander Lvovich's worthy life path serves as a guide for young people," said Erbol Karashukeyev.
Alexander Nakhmanovich's daughter Galina Alexandrovna also thanked the citizens who organized the large-scale event and noted that our common duty is to perpetuate and preserve the memory of such personalities.
The conference was attended by veterans of the civil service Anatoly Shupta and Amangeldy Karentaev, veteran of labor Hamidulla Baynazarov, Doctor of Economics, Professor Murat Aliyev, son of public figure H. Bekturganov Tastemir Khasanuly.
An exhibition was also organized within the framework of the event, where historical artifacts and national dishes were presented.
It should be noted that as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Hero of Socialist Labor, veteran of the Great Patriotic War and labor Alexander Nakhmanovich, various events were held in schools, a regional volleyball tournament among veterans.
