In Almaty, children with disabilities have the opportunity to try themselves as dog handlers.
The Cynological Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan cordially opens its doors to schoolchildren and students of Almaty. Special attention is paid to children with disabilities who, as part of the inclusion program, can try themselves as police dog handlers.
For effective communication with such children, service dogs have been specially trained in interaction methods. These four-legged friends help relieve mental and nervous tension, as well as develop social and communication skills.
Young guests can observe the work of dog handlers with service dogs in various directions, such as the search for narcotic and explosive substances, forceful seizure and odorological identification.
During these excursions, children get acquainted with various breeds, their habits and get a lot of positive emotions.
However, most importantly, such events help to instill anti-drug immunity in children, which makes them especially important for forming a healthy attitude to life.
