More than 300 thousand students and schoolchildren of Astana took part in the dictation on the dangers of drugs.
More than 300 thousand students took part in a dictation on the dangers of drugs in Astana. This event is organized in the capital for the first time. Its purpose is to prevent and suppress the spread of drug addiction among young people, as well as legal explanatory work on the inevitable consequences associated with drug crimes.
The drug problem is well-known and requires constant attention from society, especially with regard to the younger generation.
As part of the campaign "Astana is a drug—free city", employees of the Department for combating Drug crime conducted a city dictation on the dangers of drug use in educational institutions of the capital. This event is attended by high school students, students of 1-2 courses of colleges and higher educational institutions of the city. More than 300 thousand schoolchildren and students of Astana took part in this large-scale event.
In addition to the written work, police officers organized preventive conversations with students. The students were told about the consequences of drug use, including the formation of addiction and the destruction of the psyche, as well as about criminal liability for drug distribution, up to life imprisonment.
Such events are one of the ways to instill anti—drug immunity in young people, as well as to increase their legal literacy about criminal liability measures for participation in drug trafficking, advertising or propaganda of their use.
This event was aimed at making teenagers think about their own lives, not use drugs and alcohol, and not commit offenses.
