On December 12, Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Sharlapayev visited key industrial enterprises of the region as part of a working trip to the Abai region.
The first facility was SemAZ LLP, specializing in the production of agricultural and automotive equipment. The plant produces tractors of the brands "Belarus", "JINMA", "YTO", trucks "Shacman", "Ural", "DongFeng", "GAZ" and "Hino", as well as buses "DongFeng" and "Zhongtong". The company's production capacity is impressive: up to 3,500 tractors, 10,000 trucks and 1,200 buses per year.
Next, the Minister visited Daewoo Bus Kazakhstan LLP, which produces DAEWOO urban and suburban buses, as well as GAZ minibuses. The production process includes the assembly and welding of body parts, painting, final assembly, leakproofness testing and product compliance with established standards.
He also visited Semey Kurylys Materialdary LLP, which produces asbestos-cement products. The assortment includes chrysotile cement sheet, asbestos board and autoclaved aerated concrete. The annual production capacity of the enterprise is 2.97 million square meters. m of chrysotile cement sheet, 500 tons of asbestos cardboard and 60 thousand cubic meters of autoclaved aerated concrete
