Not Only a Soldier, but Also a Defender: Two-Time Champion Serves the Motherland 25.08.2025
The ranks of the National Guard include not only defenders of law and order but also true champions. One of them is Private Aldiyar Zharkeyev, currently serving his conscription in military unit 5571 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty.Drafted from the city of Zhezkazgan, Aldiyar is a two-time champion of Kazakhstan, well known in the world of hand-to-hand combat. He achieved his first major victories even before joining the army. In 2021 in Karaganda, and again in 2023 in Astana, he confirmed his title as champion in the flyweight category.During his basic training, the unit’s command quickly recognized his athletic potential. This year, the guardsman proudly represented the sports team of Regional Command “Ontustik” at the National Guard’s championship in sport and combat sambo, held in Turkestan. The competition gathered more than 70 of the strongest fighters, and Aldiyar won a silver medal in the under-58 kg weight class. His achievements are no coincidence: Aldiyar’s love for sports and inner strength were largely shaped within his family. His elder brothers also completed their conscription service in the National Guard, setting a worthy example for the younger sibling.Yet for Aldiyar, military service is not only about sports. Today, he performs patrol and guard duty on the streets of Almaty, maintaining public order and ensuring the safety of citizens during cultural and sporting events in the city. His commanders note his impeccable bearing, discipline, and initiative, while his comrades consider him a role model of a true guardsman, equally successful in both sport and service.“For me, sport is a way of life. Even while serving in the army, I continue to train. Service doesn’t get in the way — on the contrary, it helps me become more resilient and stronger,” he shares. These words confirm the central idea: service in the National Guard is a school of courage, but at the same time, it is also a space for personal development. Here, fighters are believed in, their potential is supported, and their drive for victory is encouraged. Beneath the military uniform is a person who dreams and strives for new heights.Press Service of the National GuardMinistry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of KazakhstanSource : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kvv/press/news/details/1056007?lang=kk

POLICE IN WKH PREVENTED TRANSFER OF 1.3 MILLION TENGE TO SCAMMERS 24.08.2025
In the West Kazakhstan Region, police prevented 1.3 million tenge from being transferred to fraudsters, Polisia.kz reports. During the preventive measures, police officers noticed a man standing near a terminal in one of the city's shopping and entertainment centers and talking on the phone at the same time. The man's nervousness and hasty actions while entering data raised suspicions. The police intervened and tried to explain that there might be fraudsters behind the phone. However, the man insisted on transferring money. The woman on the phone, who introduced herself as "Tamara", advised him not to listen to anyone, and a few minutes later her "daughter" and "son" also joined the conversation. As it turned out, for several days the fraudsters called the man, introducing themselves as police officers, and convincing him that his savings were in danger. To "save" the money, he had to withdraw funds from the deposit and transfer them to a "safe" account. Thanks to the timely action of police officers, the transfer of 1.3 million tenge was prevented. Due to the increase in telephone and Internet fraud, especially crimes targeting pensioners, police and private security officers in the West Kazakhstan region are conducting preventive measures near ATMs and in crowded places - primarily shopping and entertainment centers. The goal is to act quickly in the "risk zone", prevent money transfers to fraudsters, and raise public awareness. The police warn: real law enforcement officers will never demand money transfers. In case of any suspicious call, we ask you to immediately call "102". #LEGAL ORDER #OURPOLICE
