More than 13.7 thousand foreign citizens work in Kazakhstan 16.11.2024
As of October 1, 2024, 13,707 foreign citizens are working on the territory of Kazakhstan with the permission of local executive bodies.Among the permits for attracting foreign labor (hereinafter – IRS) there are the following categories: 548 permits for managers and their deputies (the first category), 2,503 permits for heads of structural divisions (the second category). The main part of the attracted IRS belongs to the third (specialists) and fourth (skilled workers) The categories are 4,874 and 861 people, respectively. 1,586 people were also involved in seasonal work, and 3,335 people were involved in corporate transfer.Currently, there are 1,799 employers using IRS in Kazakhstan. They employ more than 390.2 thousand citizens of Kazakhstan, which is 96.6% of the total number of employees.By type of economic activity, the largest number work in the following areas: construction – 5,144 people, agriculture, forestry and fisheries – 1,638 people, administrative and auxiliary services – 1,439 people, manufacturing industry – 1,376 people, mining and quarrying – 1,344 people.The main countries of origin of migrant workers are: China – 4,600 people, Uzbekistan – 1,698 people, Turkey – 1,145 people, India – 1,101 people.Recall that in order to protect the domestic labor market, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan annually establishes and distributes a quota for attracting foreign specialists to the Republic. As of October 1, 2024, more than 20.7 thousand people with disabilities (hereinafter referred to as LSI) were covered by various employment promotion measures. A total of 106.8 thousand people with special needs (28%) are currently employed.As of October 1, 2024, 732.1 thousand people with disabilities live in Kazakhstan, or 3.6% of the total population, 381.3 thousand of whom are of working age.In accordance with the Social Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, local executive bodies establish a quota of jobs for LSI in the amount of 2 to 4% of the total number of employees (with a total number of employees of at least 50 people), excluding jobs in heavy work, work with harmful and dangerous working conditions. During the nine months of this year, 5.4 thousand people were employed according to the quota.People with special needs are also involved in active measures to promote employment. So, as of October 1 this year, 5,9 thousand people were employed in permanent jobs, 505 people were employed in youth practice, 654 people were employed in social jobs, 5,9 thousand people were employed in public works, 828 people were employed under the Silver Age project, and the First Workplace project 183 people, according to the project "Contract of generations" – 6 people.272 people were enrolled in short–term professional training, and 5,000 people were trained in the basics of entrepreneurship under the Bastau Business project.To open their own business, citizens belonging to socially vulnerable segments of the population are provided with state grants in the amount of up to 400 MCI (1.4 million tenge). To date, 1,470 LSI have received such support.Also, since 2018, taking into account international experience, the procedure for subsidizing the costs of employers associated with equipping a special workplace for the employment of persons with disabilities has been introduced. В Алматинской области проходят торжественные мероприятия, приуроченные ко Дню Республики. Значение этого государственного праздника особенно велико, так как он напоминает о исторических событиях, открывших путь к независимости Казахстана, и способствует укреплению единства народа. Президент Касым-Жомарт Токаев отметил, что «День Республики — это праздник, который поднимает дух нашего народа, укрепляет нашу государственность и способствует сплочению и единству».25 октября 1990 года принятие Декларации о независимости стало первым шагом Казахстана на пути к независимости. Этот важный документ определил государственные символы, границы, гражданство и суверенитет страны в международных отношениях. Это историческое событие обеспечило движение Казахстана к независимости и с тех пор отмечается ежегодно как День Республики.Жители Алматинской области с гордостью отмечают этот праздник. В торжественном собрании, проведенном в городе Конаев, приняли участие почетные граждане региона и ветераны, ставшие свидетелями обретения независимости. Среди них были Ызгарбек Бектурсынулы, Серик Катенулы, Алихан Абдыханулы и Нурлан Ильясулы.За годы независимости Алматинская область значительно способствовала социально-экономическому развитию страны. За первые 9 месяцев текущего года в экономику региона было инвестировано 615,0 млрд. тенге, что на 32,8% больше по сравнению с прошлым годом. Объем промышленного производства достиг 1,4 трлн. тенге, а общая продукция сельского хозяйства оценена в 480,6 млрд. тенге, увеличившись на 1,9%. В строительном секторе также наблюдается рост: выполнены строительные работы на сумму 243,8 млрд. тенге, введено в эксплуатацию 777,1 тыс. квадратных метров жилья. В целом в различных отраслях экономики было создано более 45 тыс. новых рабочих мест, из которых более 33,6 тыс. — постоянные.Сохранение межнационального согласия и укрепление общественного согласия — одно из главных достижений Казахстана за годы независимости. На сегодняшний день единство и сплоченность народа закладывают основу развития государства и служат основой для успехов в политической и экономической сферах. Достижения Алматинской области в этом направлении также служат примером для всей республики.«День Республики — это не просто праздник, но и день, который напоминает каждому гражданину о важнейших страницах прошлого и вселяет надежду на будущее нашей страны. В этом году Алматинская область достойно отмечает этот праздник и планирует реализовать новые проекты, которые придадут новый импульс развитию региона», — заявил Марат Султангазиев.В ходе торжественного мероприятия более 30 человек были отмечены государственными наградами те, кто внес значительный вклад в социально-экономическое и культурное развитие страны. Председатель местного профсоюза работников образования и науки «Демеу» - Естенов Токкожа был награжден орденом «Парасат», ряд граждан области получили ордена «Құрмет», III степени «Еңбек даңқы», медали «Ерен еңбегі үшін» и «Шапағат».Торжественное мероприятие продолжилось праздничным концертом.
