Nazarbayev University hosted the IV International Symposium on Emerging Materials and Devices - ISEMD 2025Medications derived from biomass, smart polymers for flexible electronics, and fuels of the future – these were just a few of the ambitious scientific topics explored at the IV International Symposium on Emerging Materials and Devices (ISEMD 2025), held from May 28 to 30 at Nazarbayev University (NU) in Astana.The symposium brought together more than 180 researchers from Spain, the United States, China, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Finland, Ecuador, Uzbekistan, Russia, and Kazakhstan. "The development of aviation and transport logistics is the key to the country's territorial connectivity and equal opportunities," President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed, speaking at the National Kurultai.Today, as part of the discussion of the instructions given by the Head of State at a meeting of the National Kurultai in Kostanay, a round table was held on the development of the transit and logistics sector.
