Karaganda expands partnership with Slovakia 12.07.2026
The Karaganda region is strengthening ties with Slovakia. Agreements have been signed with the Bansko-Bystritsky Autonomous Region in the fields of economics, entrepreneurship and education, as well as new joint projects.A delegation of the Karaganda region headed by Deputy Akim of the region Ermek Alpysov visited the Slovak Republic. It includes representatives of government agencies and businesses working in the fields of energy, metallurgy and information technology.A Kazakh-Slovak business forum was also held. На полях IX Международной выставки «Китай – Евразия» заместитель Премьер-министра – министр национальной экономики РК Серик Жумангарин провел двустороннюю встречу с заместителем Премьера Госсовета КНР Дином Сюэсяном. В ходе переговоров стороны обсудили перспективы дальнейшего укрепления стратегического партнерства, реализацию совместных инвестиционных проектов, развитие транспортно-логистической инфраструктуры и расширение торгово-экономического сотрудничества.Серик Жумангарин дал высокую оценку технологическому уровню IX Международной выставки «Китай – Евразия» в Урумчи. Вице-премьер подчеркнул, что представленные на ЭКСПО передовые разработки открывают принципиально новые направления для промышленной кооперации двух стран.«Сегодня на выставке были представлены передовые образцы достижений в агрохимии и производстве дронов. Мы хотели бы пригласить этих производителей и инвесторов в Казахстан. Для этого необходимо ускорить согласование Программы и Дорожной карты торгово-экономического сотрудничества Казахстана и Китая на 2027–2030 годы», — отметил Серик Жумангарин.Особое внимание в ходе встречи было уделено вопросам инвестиционного сотрудничества. За годы независимости Китай инвестировал в экономику Казахстана порядка $30 млрд прямых иностранных инвестиций, став одним из крупнейших инвесторов страны.Казахстанская сторона пригласила китайский бизнес к участию в проектах, ориентированных на создание продукции с высокой добавленной стоимостью. Среди приоритетных направлений – глубокая переработка сельскохозяйственной продукции, включая пшеницу и кукурузу, развитие металлургических производств полного цикла, а также реализация инновационных проектов в сфере агрохимии и производства беспилотных летательных аппаратов.Отдельно отмечено, что объем торговли продукцией агропромышленного комплекса между двумя странами уже достиг $2 млрд. В настоящее время китайская сторона согласовала импорт 34 видов казахстанской сельскохозяйственной продукции, еще девять товарных позиций, включая охлажденное мясо, находятся на стадии согласования.Важным блоком переговоров стало развитие транспортно-логистического сотрудничества в рамках инициативы «Один пояс, один путь». Сегодня через территорию Казахстана проходит около 85% всех сухопутных грузоперевозок из Китая в Европу.Казахстан расширяет пункты пропуска. С учетом строительства нового третьего перехода «Бахты-Аягоз» пропускная способность трех пунктов составит 100 млн тонн грузов в год. Китайская сторона подтвердила готовность совместно реализовать проект строительства третьего железнодорожного перехода на казахстанско-китайской границе, что позволит повысить устойчивость и безопасность международных транспортных маршрутов.Дин Сюэсян подтвердил заинтересованность китайской стороны в расширении сотрудничества с Казахстаном в области цифровой экономики, искусственного интеллекта, энергетики и навигационных технологий. Bathing season: safety under special control 11.07.2026
In Kostanay region, in order to ensure the safety of citizens in reservoirs during the bathing season, the work of rescue services has been strengthened and large-scale preventive measures are being carried out.There are more than 8 thousand reservoirs in the region. Of these, 226 places are designated as prohibited for swimming. In accordance with the decree of the akim of the region, 25 official bathing places have been identified for the safe recreation of the population. Of these, 6 are communal and 19 are private beaches.During the bathing season, 120 rescuers, 35 pieces of equipment, 21 watercraft and special diving equipment are in constant readiness for emergency prevention and rapid response. In addition, the coastline is patrolled in places not intended for swimming. There are also six mobile rescue posts equipped with motorboats.Currently, the Department of Emergency Situations of Kostanay region is constantly conducting explanatory work among the population. Police officers, soldiers of the National Guard, representatives of the education sector and volunteers are involved in this activity. As part of interagency cooperation, additional patrols are organized and safety requirements in reservoirs are widely explained.Experts urge residents to swim only in specially equipped and permitted places, not to leave children unattended, and not to enter the water after drinking alcoholic beverages. The aim of the project is to form a sustainable practice of environmental volunteerism in Kostanay region through the creation of a demonstration site (greenhouse) and practical training activities on sustainable agriculture, biodiversity and environmental education.The project is being implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan under a state grant.According to Nauryzbek Birmagambetov, head of the Neco Ecological Club Public Foundation, the project is directly related to the tasks of Taza Kazakhstan.— There are several directions that our project corresponds to. The implementation of a set of measures for organizing summer holidays, recreation and employment of children continues in Kostanay region. All children enrolled in various types of registration are 100% covered by summer holidays and various forms of employment.In all schools of the region, there are "Summer psychological support sites" where children can receive the necessary help and support from specialists. An additional support tool is the Dosym regional Telegram bot, which provides round-the-clock and anonymous psychological assistance to children. At a ceremonial event, Akim of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov presented the keys to 100 new police service vehicles, as well as four all-terrain quad bikes designated for a newly established unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operator unit.The renewal of the police vehicle fleet is being carried out in accordance with the instructions of the Head of State as part of a comprehensive effort to enhance the effectiveness of the country's law enforcement agencies. This year, approximately KZT 1.3 billion has been allocated to improve the material and technical resources of the region's law enforcement bodies. Earlier this year, the police fleet had already been expanded with 80 new vehicles, and today's handover marks another milestone in the large-scale modernization program.
