This year, Kazakhstanis celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the country's independence. On December 16, a flower-laying ceremony was held at the monument of Independence "Tauelsizdik", the monument to Halyk Kaharmany Kairat Ryskulbekov.
The head of the region, Yerbol Karashukeyev, veterans, chairmen of regional and city maslikhats, Public Councils and the Council of Veterans, laid flowers as a sign that the current generation of Kazakhstanis is proud of the most important event in the country's history and will always remember the price the state got this freedom.
Surahs from the Koran were read in memory of the compatriots who selflessly fought for the freedom of the Motherland.
