On August 28, 2026, a sectional meeting of primary school teachers was held at Secondary School No. 46 in Ust-Kamenogorsk as part of the traditional August conference of education workers of East Kazakhstan Region. The meeting was dedicated to the topic: «Continuity between preschool upbringing, education and primary education, changes in the content of primary education».
The event was attended by specialists and methodologists from district and city education departments responsible for the primary level, as well as primary school teachers and preschool preparation educators. The meeting was opened by S.K. Kassenova, Head of the Department of the East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center «Örken», who highlighted key changes in primary education and issues of continuity.
During the session, leading educators and experts of the region shared their experience in implementing the updated educational content, spoke about changes in learning objectives and programs, updated approaches to assessment, as well as models of inclusive education for children with special educational needs.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants summarized the results of the section's work, conducted reflection, and identified effective methodological mechanisms for a successful start to the new academic year.
In total, 50 primary school and preschool preparation class teachers participated in the meeting.
