Dear residents of Akmola!
I sincerely congratulate you on the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan!
This holiday, symbolizing the freedom and unity of the people of Kazakhstan, is especially important and dear to each of us. Over the years of independence, we have come a long and difficult way together and achieved a lot. Since our country gained its sovereignty, our economy has strengthened, democratic processes in society continue to develop, and the welfare of the people has risen to a new level.
"The independence of the state is not just a declaration. Building genuine Independence is about daily hard work, a well–thought-out and consistent policy," President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev writes in his article "Independence above all".
Of course, Akmola residents also make a huge contribution to this work. This year, our region has achieved record figures in the agricultural sector and in attracting investments. Innovations are being introduced in manufacturing, in the agro-industrial sector, including in mechanical engineering, and the region has many achievements in small and medium-sized businesses and in the social sphere. All this became possible thanks to the hard work of every resident of the region.

Thank you for your honest and creative work for the benefit of the region and the country! Diligence, determination and mutual support are the key to strengthening the economic power and growing political authority of our country, the foundation for improving the well-being of all Kazakhstanis.
