From the report of the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Almasadam Satkaliyev at a government meeting:
"During the reporting period, 106.7 billion rubles were generated. kWh of electricity or 104.7% compared to the same period last year (101.9 billion kWh).
Renewable energy. Currently, 148 renewable energy facilities with an installed capacity of 2,903.7 MW are operating in the Republic.
For reference:
- 59 wind power plants with a capacity of 1,409.55 MW;
- 46 solar power plant facilities with a capacity of 1,222.61 MW;
- 40 hydroelectric power plants with a capacity of 269.785 MW;
- 3 biogas power plant facilities with a capacity of 1.77 MW.
For 11 months of this year, electricity generation from renewable energy facilities amounted to 6.4 billion. kWh.
To date, 3 renewable energy projects with a capacity of 34.95 MW have been implemented.
For reference: 2 wind farm projects with a total installed capacity of 14.95 MW in Akmola region and 1 SES project with an installed capacity of 20 MW in Zhambyl region.
By the end of this year, 5 more renewable energy facilities with a capacity of 128.4 MW are expected to be commissioned.
For reference: 3 wind farms with a total capacity of 110.5 MW in Aktobe (ERG Capital Project LLP - 12.5 MW), Mangystau (Sarkylmas Kuat LLP - 50 MW) and Atyrau regions (Divitel LLP - 48 MW), 2 hydroelectric power plants with a total capacity of 17.9 MW in Almaty region (Tolkyn Wind Farm LLP" - 3 MW) and Zhetisu region (Baskan Power LLP - 14.9 MW).
The projects are at the stage of preparation for complex tests. The first supply of electricity to the grid is expected in December of this year."
