From the report of the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Almasadam Satkaliyev at a government meeting:
"In January-November of this year, about 12.3 million tons of petroleum products were produced, or 101.7% compared to the same period last year (12.1 million tons), including:
- the indicator for gasoline amounted to 4.9 million tons or 102.1% compared to last year (4.8 million tons);
- the volume of diesel fuel production amounted to 4.9 million tons or 104.3% compared to the previous year (4.7 million tons).
I would like to note that today there is a joint order from the Ministries of Energy, Finance and the National Security Committee, which bans the export of gasoline, diesel fuel and other certain types of petroleum products by road outside the country (expires on March 29, 2025).
The figure for jet fuel was about 0.68 million tons, with an increase of 21.4% compared to the same period last year (0.56 million tons).
As for the production of fuel oil, its figure is 1.8 million tons, or 85.7% compared to the same period last year (2.1 million tons).
The decrease in fuel oil production is due to an increase in the depth of oil refining from 85% to 87%.
The volume of production of petrochemical products amounted to 506.1 thousand tons, which is more than 1.6 times higher than in the same period last year (312.9 thousand tons)."
