Within the framework of the project "The State language is the language of interethnic relations" of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, a round table was held in Dostyk Uy in Turkestan on the topic "Effective ways of teaching the state language to representatives of ethnic groups: new innovative methods". The moderator was Nursultan Seitzhanov, Deputy Head of the APK secretariat. The leadership of the KMM "Social Contract", representatives of the ethnocultural association at the regional APK and teachers of mixed schools of the district and the city, teachers teaching Kazakh in the language learning centers of the district and cities, and ethnic youth Akbota Myrzakhanova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, head of the Department of Kazakh and Russian Languages of the Preparatory Center, Zubaira Altayeva, Chief specialist of the Education Department of the Regional Department of Education. He spoke in the direction of promoting and glorifying the state language among the ethnic groups of the region, and also explained effective ways of learning the language.
At the meeting, industry experts noted that the path to improving grammatical literacy would be opened by conducting documentation in the state language in all areas. According to Gulmira Isatai, chief specialist of the Department of Language Development and Onomastics of the Turkestan Regional Department of Culture, language centers that are part of the Department of culture operate in all districts and cities of the region. Last year, about 4,000 people took these courses.
As it was noted at the meeting, currently, at the initiative of the Assembly structures in the Turkestan region, regular events are being held to improve the status of the state language. Sunday school has opened in Dostyk Uyin today. In general, 92% of representatives of ethnic groups in the region speak Kazakh well.
Speaking at the event, the head of the KMM "Social Contract", Elmira Zhangazieva, noted: "Learning the state language is a sign of respect for the Motherland, the country and unites us all. Our President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said at the session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan: "I am sure that the Kazakh language will eventually become the language of interethnic communication. We are gradually coming to this," he said. Therefore, it is a civic duty to learn the state language and promote the expansion of its use," he called on representatives of the ethnic group to master the state language and use it as a means of everyday communication.< During the Round Table, the participants shared their thoughts on the promotion of the state language and exchanged views with each other.
