Due to its geographical location, Aktobe region has a high transit potential.
This year, it was planned to implement 193 projects worth 64.5 billion tenge to improve the quality of local roads. By the end of the year, the share of local roads in the standard condition reached 78% (in 2023 – 75%).
To date, more than 500 kilometers of road surface (asphalt and foundation) have been laid in the region.
In the city of Aktobe, work is underway to bring more than 200 road sections to a standard state, which is 47 kilometers of streets.
All necessary documents for the reconstruction of two sections have been prepared on the Samara-Shymkent international highway in the direction of Aktobe-Khromtau. Work has begun on the construction of a four-lane highway and reconstruction of communications in the area from the residential area of Olke in Aktobe to the village of Akzhar in Khromtau district.
In addition, the average repair of the republican highway Kandyagash – Emba– Shalkar– Irgiz (401 kilometers), which is part of the Center-West transport corridor, continues. Currently, 25 kilometers of the road have been put into operation, and work continues jointly with Kazakavtozhol.
Also, on behalf of the Head of State, the construction of the 90-kilometer republican highway Aktobe-Kandyagash, connecting Aktobe and Atyrau regions, has been completed.
